The Recruitment Services branch at the Department of Justice and Community Safety provides expert advice and support to the department on all recruitment related matters, including attraction, selection, redeployment and other recruitment and retention practices.
Working within the department's strategic objective of 'building a high performing justice system', Recruitment Services delivers consultative, progressive, innovative, fair and ethical recruitment solutions.
About the role
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager Campaigns, Assessment and Selection, you will be accountable for leading a team and managing the coordination and delivery of end-to-end process of campaign-style and high volume recruitment projects.
Essential to successful campaign delivery is the focus placed on stakeholder consultation, project delivery timelines, proactive attraction campaigns, review of current and previous processes, as well as ensuring the recruitment vendor processes are aligned to departmental policies, procedures and values.
You will be a highly experienced recruitment professional who holds up-to-date and credible information regarding assessment centre selection practices, psychometric testing and validity measurements.
You will use your operational understanding of the business and the required candidate skill set to develop and deliver recruitment strategies that ensure selection of the most suitable applicants for success in these positions.
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
- subject matter expertise in recruitment, with experience in leading and motivating volume recruitment teams to deliver target hire numbers
- experience in designing and reviewing recruitment tools, processes, and schedules within a large, complex organisation
- outstanding stakeholder management skills, with a passion for providing exceptional service to hiring managers and other stakeholders.
A tertiary qualification in Organisational Psychology, HR or a related field is highly desirable.
